Using the Dashboard in LDO
The Dashboard is the home page of Lenovo Device Orchestration, providing an at-a-glance overview of the devices in your organization and related information. It consists of multiple widgets, each representing a different category of device management. Some widgets allow you to click on a metric to navigate to the corresponding detail page within the portal. The data is updated throughout the day.
Total Devices
Displays the total count of devices claimed on Lenovo Device Orchestration with the licensing status. Clicking on the graph will automatically navigate you to the Device table, filtered by the license status > Licensed or Unlicensed.
Device Connectivity
Provides a real-time overview of the online and offline status of all connected devices. It helps users monitor device availability and uptime performance at a glance.
Key features:
- Uptime and Downtime Duration – Tracks the total uptime and downtime in hours and minutes.
- Device Status Breakdown – Shows the percentage and total number of online and offline devices.
- Total Devices and Uptime Percentage – Displays the overall number of devices and the percentage of time they have been online.
To access device information, click the wheel icon. The software will then redirect you Device Management > Devices, Devices page.
Displays the total number of devices, along with the count of devices for each warranty status. Warranty information displays only for Lenovo devices and Chromebooks with Premium licenses.
Hardware Assets
Summarizes the component information for all the monitored devices in an organization.
Clicking the See page

icon in the top-right corner of the widget redirects the user to >
Device Management > Hardware Asset Management feature.
The See page icon functionality is not available for
IT Analysts and Read-Only users.
Current Alerts and Events
Provides information on any issues or hardware changes detected over the last 7 days as of the last data update. Issues are categorized into two tabs: Alerts and Hardware Changes. Each tab name is followed by the total number of corresponding alerts.
- Alerts: hovering over a specific type of alert displays the total number of related alerts. Clicking on a specific alert takes you to the affiliated report.
- Hardware Changes: hovering over a specific type of change displays the total number of related changes. Clicking on a specific change takes you to the affiliated tab on the Hardware Asset Change Report.
Apps and Deployments
Provides an overview of the different app types being managed through LDO as well as number of deployments across devices.
System Update
Displays the percentage of total devices with critical, recommended, and optional available updates.
Clicking on the See page
icon redirects the user to Device management > App Management > System Update page.
The See page icon functionality is not available for IT Analysts and Read-Only users.
Crash Heatmap
Displays the number of BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) issues, categorized by specific device models. This allows Org Admins to identify problematic device models and take appropriate steps to enhance the user experience on those devices.
Windows Device Manager Errors
This widget leverages Windows error codes to diagnose hardware component issues. The left section displays a list of error codes, each accompanied by a tooltip providing a description. When an error code is selected, the right section updates to show a list of devices affected by that specific error code.
Sorting and Applying Filters
- Click the Hardware column title to sort the table by hardware type.
- Click the Filter icon and select checkboxes to filter by type.
Current Issue Summary
Offers a concise visual overview of the most urgent issues, categorized for easy analysis. The summary highlights four key metrics at the top:
- BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) issues
- High CPU Apps issues
- Storage issues
- Battery issues
Below these metrics, a bar chart illustrates the number of issues in each category. Each bar consists of a darker section indicating the number of critical issues and a lighter section representing the total issues in that category.
Maximizing the view
Click the three-dot

menu in the top-right corner of the widget. This view allows you to export a summary, or you can use the method described below.
Exporting a Summary
- Click the three-dot
menu in the top-right corner of the widget. - Select a file format: PNG or JPEG.
- Save the file to your computer.
Lenovo Support Tickets
Displays the number of hardware, software, and platform support tickets the organization has submitted to Lenovo Support. These are categorized as Raised, In Progress, and Closed. Clicking on any of these categories will take you to the Support Tickets feature in Device Insights.
Overall Health Score
Provides a clear visual overview of the health of all active devices in the organization. Each device's health score is determined based on the most severe current and potential issues that were active in the past 30 days.
To access information of today´s fleet health, click on the wheel. The summary highlights five key metrics at the top:
- Fleet average
- BSOD
- Applications Impacting Performance
- Batteries
- Storage Drives
Below these metrics, a bar chart displays the number of issues in each category. Each bar is divided into a darker section representing the number of issues in that category and a lighter section indicating the total count of devices.

- Click the Export button.
- Select a file format - PNG or JPEG.

Device Type and Device by Operating System
Displays a breakdown of devices by Device Type and Operating System, allowing you to track how many of each are being managed through LDO.
Clicking on a device type will take you to the Device management > Devices page, where a list of devices of that type will be displayed. Similarly, clicking on an operating system will take you to the same page and show the list of devices running the selected OS.
License Type
Displays the license type along with the total number currently in use.
