LDO Migration FAQ

Will I have to redeploy Agents?

  1. Windows, ChromeOS, macOS, & VM - No redeploy needed.
  2. Linux & Android - redeploy is needed.

No – you will continue to use the LDI / LDM portal link you have been using.

Will I need to reconfigure my SSO?

No – the SSO you already have configured will continue to function as usual.

Does this cost me anything?

No – customers with LDI / LDM are eligible for this LDO conversion.

Will I need to adjust network filters?

No – the same domains will be used for both portal access and UDC / Cloud connection.
  1. *.lenovo.com:443 (for primary Lenovo Device Orchestration downloads and functions)
  2. *.lakesidesoftware.com:443 (for primary SysTrack downloads and functions)
  3. *.cloudfront.net:443 (for LDO's AWS CDN)
  4. chifsr.lenovomm.com:443 (for VantageService firmware and driver downloads)
  5. checkip.dyndns.org:443 (for SysTrack general IP location / region)

Will I lose LDI / LDM reports or data?

No, all data from you LDI / LDM portal will be retained in the upgrade to LDO.
