UDC Agent Plugins in Device Management

The UDC agent supports multiple plugins that enable various functionalities within Device Management. These plugins manage telemetry, system updates, power management, docking station integration, and more. Below is a list of plugins included with the Device Management UDC agent and their functions:
  1. thinkbios-image - Enables support for remote BIOS management for ThinkPad, ThinkCenter, and ThinkStation devices.
  2. dms-plugin – Essential for managing all telemetry and actions within Device Management. It also handles system updates for BIOS, firmware, and drivers.
  3. ivanti-plugin – Required to run Patch services, integrating with the Ivanti SDK.
  4. peakshift-plugin – Enables PeakShift Power Management functionality.
  5. dockstation-plugin – Retrieves WMI data through Lenovo Accessories Device Management APIs.
  6. tcc-plugin – Connects to ThinkCentre BIOS to support ThinkCentre Customization (TCC).
  7. utility-plugin – Does not have a specific function.
  8. Intel vPro (EMAAgent) - Enables Remote capabilities including Remote Desktop, Remote BIOS (for vPro eligible devices) , and Remote power features.
