Lenovo Device Orchestration Release Notes v25.9
New Features Added
- Device Groups can now be synched to Device Management from the Device Groups page (as well as during the initial Intune connection.
- Intune Groups can be synched by clicking on the “Sync Intune Groups” (requires Intune Connector setup from Policy Management/Connectors).
- When a device with a system update requiring a reboot has an application open in full screen or presentation mode, updates will be deferred automatically.
- The filter on the System Update/By Updates tab has been redesigned and now supports Driver "Categories".
- Policy Management/Features/System Update Preferences now supports deferral "days, weeks, and months".
- The column under the "Scheduled Updates" tab now refers to "System Update Description" instead of "Package Name" for consistency.
- Enhanced Device Insight’s Application Performance report with a Detected Incidents tab that reports application crashes and hangs that were detected on devices.
- Enhanced Device Insight’s Application Performance report with a Predicted Incidents tab that leverages AI models to predict which applications are at risk of crashing or hanging.
- Adds the full list of drivers for a device to the device tray.
- Creates an exportable report (within Notifications) for the full Driver List.
- Adds Vendor name and device count to BIOS details for an extended fleet view.
- Allows for exporting the list of a specific BIOS version and all applicable devices with that version
- Validates changes have been saved when test rings are added or changed
- Makes transition between ring flows more understandable
- Adds Notification Center to ring set and flow process
- Pin recently viewed pages as “Favorites” to easily navigate back to recently used pages within the LDO portal.
- UDC Logging now available for Android (previously added for Windows and Linux. All can be selected from the Main Device List and reports gathered through the Notification Center.
- Adds Chromebook and ChromeOS filter to main device table
- Adds ability to ignore Peakshift “No Charge Until” setting so customers can start the battery charge once the device hits the threshold set.
- Enabled ability to view the Device Tray on the Utilization Summary report when clicking a row in the report to see additional device-level detail
- When applying date filters to reports in Device Insights, the date filter persists across reports as you move from page to page.
