New Features and Enhancements
1. LDO
- Added conversion FAQ to knowledge Base.
2. LDO - Device Management
Chromebook Management
- New Chromebook Management feature (under Device Management), which includes:
- Reboot & Powerwash actions (buttons) available per device or in bulk.
- Requires IT Admin/Org Admin role with MFA enabled.
- Bulk Powerwash and summary report via Notification Center.
- Bulk Reboot and summary report via Notification Center.
- Duplicate Device Tray, including editable fields.
- Additional telemetry added to Device table, Device Tray, Chromebook table and tray, and Device lookup (Insights)
Additional enhancements are planned for version 26.1.
Dashboard
- New Chrome-specific dashboard widgets, including: OS Status, 24-hour Activity, and Last Check-in.
- Widgets for TSFA will appear on the dashboard if the user has a valid license.
System Update
- Driver Rollback
- New Driver Rollback feature available for System Update drivers only, as supported by specific vendors. The rollback option is displayed only if supported by the vendor.
- Allows rolling back to a previous driver version by selecting the Rollback icon or the Rollback button.
- Rollback can be performed during the available driver period.
- Users can block a driver for the current device or for all future devices. Blocked drivers can be unblocked from the Blocked Updates tab.
- Multiple Auto Scan & Update + Maintenance Window
- Extends Auto Scan & Update to support multiple schedules, all severities, and all update types.
- Supports up to 10 recurring schedules across multiple groups.
- Allows defining a Maintenance Window during a specified period, with an optional Force Reboot setting.
Miscellaneous Enhancements
- Allows adding editable notes in the device tray.
- Displays the timestamp and the LDO user who added the note.
- Supports adding multiple notes to the device details page.
3. LDO – Device Insights
Email / Alert Configuration
- New All BSOD Crash Types option for email notifications to streamline configuration.
Utilization Summary Report
- Added Warranty Status to the Utilization Summary Report table.
- Added a System Update navigation button in the Utilization Summary Report to enable easier access for Admins during troubleshooting.
- Made Utilization Summary Report table columns sortable.
- Added Device Age to the Utilization Summary Report table.
Miscellaneous Enhancements
- Added diagnostics and recommendations to records displayed in the Application Crash/Hang report.
- Removed duplicate API calls in reports and ticketing to improve page load performance and reduce unnecessary backend calls.
4. ThinkShield Firmware Assurance
- Integrated ThinkShield Firmware Assurance Widgets into the LDO dashboard
- Dashboard Customization page enabled.
- Accessibility improvements, and bugfixes.
5. Lenovo IT Assist
