Available Updates

The Available Updates report identifies devices with outdated BIOS or Thunderbolt firmware versions. It provides device details, recommended updates, remediation information, and activity history to help administrators review and address update-related issues across their device fleet.

This report lists devices with available Thunderbolt related updates.

Issue Tray

When you click a particular device row in an Issue Report, the Issue Tray window is displayed as a slide-in from the right side of the window.
The Issue Tray contains three tabs:

Device Details

Displays detailed information about the device that experienced the selected issue. 

Activity History

 Displays a log of portal activity related to the device, including status changes and license assignment updates.  

Reccommended Updates

Displays information about available BIOS updates. 

Expand Fix to view information about the recommended update or corrective action for the selected issue. The content varies by report and may include update details, remediation recommendations, and links to Lenovo tools, support resources, or documentation related to the issue.

Inspect Device 

To access this feature, click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the upper-right corner of the Issue Tray. You will be taken to Device Management > Devices > Device details page, where you can review all available information for the device.

Exporting Reports to CSV

To perform Issues List export, click the ellipsis and then  icon to export the selected report in the .csv file format. If there were filters applied, then confirm if you want to export with or without filters applied.
Notes
We suggest you apply filters before exporting report/reports.Otherwise, the export will include issue details for all devices.

Sorting and Filtering your Report

Column titles
Click any column header to sort the data in ascending or descending order.

Date range selection
  1. Click the calendar icon (📅) to:
    1. Choose a custom date range.
    2. Select a preset period (e.g., Last 7 Days, This Month).
Search Feature
Use the search box to find a specific device or an issue  

Use wildcards for flexible searching:
  1. ? (single character): Matches any one character.  Example: te?t finds "text" or "test".
  2. ***** (multiple characters): Matches 0+ characters. Example: win* finds "Windows", "Windows95", or "WindowsNT".
Filters
Device Insights reports include filtering options that enable users to refine their search for device crashes by specific criteria, including Crash Code, Crash Type, Device Label, and Bucket ID.
  1. Click the filter icon   in the top-right corner of the page (located before the three-dot menu).
  2. Select a filter criterion from the left panel.
  3. Refine your selection by choosing an option on the right.
  4. Click Show Results to apply.
When you're finished, click Show Results. To reset filters, click Clear All.

Date Range

Each perspective contains a Date range option in the top right of the page. This can be manipulated to show a previous timeframe of App Performance issues:
