About Device Lookup

The Device Lookup page serves as a comprehensive information source, consolidating all data related to an individual device within the TSFA system. Designed to provide detailed insights, it facilitates the management and troubleshooting of devices. 

Device Lookup provides exclusive access to a device’s full event log, offering a complete, chronological record of all events and changes. This enables users to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.

User Roles

This feature is available for Organization Admins and IT Admins.

To use Device Lookup:
  1. Navigate to the Device manager > Device Lookup page.
  2. Enter the device's Serial Number in the Search box. The system displays device’s detailed information.
NotesYou must input of at least 1 character. If multiple devices match the input, the search will initially display several devices and a View all button. Clicking View all redirects the user to the Devices page with the applied Search parameters.

Device Information

On the left side of the screen, you will find the following information:
  1. Image (varies based on the laptop model)
  2. Name (as displayed in Windows)
  3. Device Type (marketing model + shortened form)
  4. Serial Number
  5. MTM
  6. Device License status
  7. Labels. Click the + button to add new labels or apply existing ones. For more information on device labeling, refer to the Managing Devices within TSFA article, section Creating and Managing Device Labels.

Details tab

Software Details and Device Status

It displays the device's platform status, health status, and the status of the last report.


Firmware & Security Tab

Displays detailed information on security and firmware.

Measurements Tab

This tab displays the history of measurements, showing the security and integrity status from the last evaluation of the system components. To initiate a new check, click the Run measurements button.

To filter by On-Demand Measurement event type, go to the Events tab.

Events Tab

This section displays a list of events, along with their severity and the date/time they occurred. Click the small downward arrow next to an event name to expand it and view its details.

Filtering data
  1. Click the Filter icon located in the top-right corner.
  2. Select an option from the left section—Event Types, Time Period, Status, and Severity.
  3. For each option, select a source from the right section by checking the desired checkboxes.
  4. Click the Show results button.
Please note that events encompass all occurrences related to a device. A Reboot is an event, as is a Power On. Similarly, an Incident is also considered an event.

Exporting Device Information

Click the Export link   link located in the top-right corner of the page and select a file type: PDF or CSV. Save the report to your computer.
