If a device is not fully registered or licensed, its data nor action functionality will be available in the Device Tray
Device information is organized into different Tabs:
Device Info Tab
This tab provides device information, which is presented in these subtabs:
- Network information (Online/Offline).

Settings
This tab provides two different settings information – Network Settings and Device Settings.
Network Settings
Users can enable/disable the connectivity (such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) directly from the portal. Changes made in this section will be remotely applied to the device.
Device Settings
This tab has two sections – Remote Management and Device Restrictions.
Remote Management
In case the device is stolen or lost, administrators can remotely lock and reset the device password/PIN to disable access to the device. Click Lock Device under Remote Management to reset the device password/PIN.
By resetting the password/PIN, the device will be automatically locked. However, this operation will take place only when the device is online. If the device is offline, Device Management will continue to attempt this action for 1 hour.
Reset PIN allows users to enter only four digits, while Reset Password requires a minimum of six characters, supports special characters, and allows up to 16 characters.
By default, Remote Lock operation requires MFA sign-on to be enabled. To enable MFA, go to User, select My Profile > Security tab and enable the Microsoft Two-Step Verification toggle button. This will force you to log out from the Device Management portal and log back in again. Once you log in, the Factory Reset button will be enabled. To disable this default MFA sign-on behavior, go to Policy Management > Device Management Organization Settings > Feature tab. Select Feature Controls and disable Android Device Lock with Password Reset toggle.
