Managing Remote BIOS on Intel vPro® Devices
To establish a remote connection to the BIOS settings of a device, go to Device Management > Devices, select the target device, access the Remote Management tab in the device tray, and select Remote BIOS.

The device must be online, licensed and have the Intel vPro® agent installed. The device must be attended as a consent code must be shared between the device user and the IT Admin to gain access.
- Click the Connect button to access the device.
- Once connected, Device Management will require a 6-digit consent code. The IT Admin should obtain this code directly from the device end user.
- Once the consent code is confirmed, Device Management will access the device’s BIOS Settings via the Intel vPro EMA server. BIOS Settings can then be remotely viewed and modified as needed.
- When finished, click Close to disconnect from the device.
