All batteries degrade over time, but some may degrade faster
due to usage, environment, or defects. Replacement or repair is covered under
Lenovo's warranty terms.
To access this report, go to Device Insights >
Batteries.
This report flags devices with underperforming batteries
that fall below expected charge levels. Those marked as Poor condition cannot operate long without being plugged in.
Potential Issues - Charging Deviations Tab
This report flags devices experiencing irregular charging
behavior through AI-based anomaly detection when compared to normal charging
trends. These deviations may indicate a new or recent device change that could
induce irregular power consumption.
Current issues - Low Battery tab
When a device’s battery has <20% charge remaining, LDO will create an alert on the Dashboard. The device will be listed in the Batteries report and Device Management > Devices > select a device > Device Details > Alert History tab until the low battery alert is no longer detected.
Issue Tray
When you click a particular device row in an issue report, the
Issue Tray window slides in from the right side of the screen. The Issue Tray contains three tabs:
Device Details
Displays detailed information about the device associated
with the selected issue.
Activity History
Shows a log of portal activity related to the device,
including status changes and license assignment updates.
Fix Issue
This tab provides the following information and actions:
- Diagnostics: Displays detailed information about the battery issue.
- Fix: Provides recommended solutions for resolving the battery issue.
Get Support: Allows you to create a support ticket for Lenovo devices under warranty. For more details, refer to
Generating Support Tickets.
- Add note: Enables you to attach notes to the crash record for team reference.
Inspect Device
To access this feature, click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the upper-right corner of the Issue Tray. You will be taken to Device Management > Devices > Device Details page, where you can review all available information for the device.
Sorting and Filtering your Report
Column titles
Click any column header to sort the data in ascending or descending order.
Date range selection
- Click the calendar icon (📅) to:
- Choose a custom date range.
Search Feature
Use the search box to find a specific device or an issue.
Use wildcards for flexible searching:
- ? (single character): Matches any one character. Example: te?t finds "text" or "test".
- ***** (multiple characters): Matches 0+ characters. Example: win* finds "Windows", "Windows95", or "WindowsNT".
Filters
LDO Device Insights Reports include filter options to help users quickly identify battery issues. You can narrow results by Battery Cycle Count, Charging Capacity, Condition, Device Label, or Resolution Status.
- Click the filter icon
in the top-right corner of the page (located before the three-dot menu). - Select a filter criterion from the left panel.
- Refine your selection by choosing an option on the right.
- Click Show Results to apply.
When you're finished, click Show Results. To reset filters, click Clear All.
Exporting Reports to CSV
To export a BSOD crash report in .CSV format:
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
- Select Export List.
We suggest you apply filters before exporting report/reports. Otherwise, you get the details of all the devices’ issues.
